We are a Gourmet Food Truck on the Emerald Coast of Florida specializing in Wagyu burgers and chicken sandwiches. Everything is made to order and fresh! We have SIX specialty burgers with six handcrafted sauces. Our patties are hand pressed every day. Our meat is always fresh, never frozen, and locally sourced from a Pensacola butcher shop. Our special sauces are made from scratch on the truck daily.

Sauce Boss Burger Co. is the passion project of owner Eli Cook and was founded in June of 2021 following shutdowns surrounding the Coronavirus Pandemic in 2020. After deciding to go to college and pursue the arts, life came to a complete standstill for Eli as he was forced to fill the time until universities reopened their doors. He spent his time doing what he loved: cooking! After a year and a half of delays (and many delicious home-cooked meals) Eli’s parents convinced him to look into creating his food for others to enjoy in the form of a brand-new burger food truck.

“For as long as I can remember I have loved food. Sauce Boss was created to be an all-encompassing food EXPERIENCE.
From the very beginning, we have been steadfast in our effort to source locally and sustainably: a totally proprietary blend of wagyu and prime cuts proudly ground by Costello’s Butcher Shop in Pensacola, Florida. Pair that with our hand-mixed Smokehouse Spice and one of our gourmet Sauces and you’re on a whole ‘nother level!
I can say with sure certainty that I don’t know where I would be without the people that have supported me along the way and continue to support me every day. My parents who got me into the game, my staff who continue to bang out magic seven days a week, my Spicy Ginger who inspires me every single day, and our amazing guests who come back again and again for the best burgers around to name a few.
My intention for Sauce Boss before it even had a name was to serve up something that you could fully enjoy and couldn’t find anywhere else. The all-American burger experience with a gourmet flair! I believe we nailed that MO. As I hear more and more people tell me that our burger is the best one they’ve ever tasted, all I feel is overwhelming pride for what I’ve created and what my team can do to create an experience unlike anything else.“
